A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck near Nagqu Prefecture, Tibet, China. The tremor was recorded early afternoon on Thursday, May 26th, 2022, at 3:48 pm local time, at a shallow depth of 10 km below the surface.

The event was filed by the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), the first seismological agency to report it.
