The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) shared this significant occasion on social media, expressing their honor in meeting the Nobel Peace laureate. “An incredible honour to meet his holiness, the @DalaiLama. England players and management attended his residence in McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala,” the ECB posted on X, showcasing the profound impact of this visit on the team.

Players Zak Crawley, Tom Hartley, Dan Lawrence, Ollie Pope, Gus Atkinson, along with assistant coach Marcus Trescothick, were among the team members who had the privilege to engage with the Dalai Lama.
