The Indian government has provided Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama with Z-category security due to potential threats, official sources confirmed. The Union Home Ministry has assigned the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to protect the 89-year-old leader nationwide. Previously, he had limited security from Himachal Pradesh Police and local forces during travel. Following an intelligence review, about 30 CRPF commandos will now guard him in shifts, ensuring consistent protection.
